Permits

California's fifth largest city, featuring great locations with crew and facilities to match

Film permits are not required if you’re on private property and have permission from the property owner.

If your crew’s footprint will extend onto public property (streets, sidewalks, public parking lots), or if there are potential public safety concerns (excessive noise, amplified sound, pyrotechnics, open flames, explosives, firearms, or simulated stunts) then it is advisable to contact either the City or County of Fresno, depending on your location.

For the City of Fresno, inquires should go to the Special Events team within the Parks Department, SpecialEvents@Fresno.gov or (559) 621-2916.
